Need Help Buying and Selling on Craigslist?
Well, I did for my traffic building project. Not so much for the buying and selling,(but now I will use them too!) but for the little tricks that I wanted to learn about Craigslist. If you remember, part of that project was to put ads on Craigslist to get readers to this site to build traffic. Below is an E-book that I bought that taught me a lot of the ins and outs about what to do in Craigslist. It is a great resource. So check it out today and master Craigslist.

Easter Egg Hunt Update
I have been spending the last hour or so updating my eggs found list in my last post. If you go to Caroline Middlebrook’s blog, you will find a contest for a free e-course for finding the eggs Caroline has hid throughout her blog.
You can find them yourself or use my links to find them. I am one short so far and I will find it in my final search either Friday or Saturday.
Till next time…..

A Concept To Run Your Online Business By
I ran across an ad or something a couple months ago called “5 Bucks A Day” and the title intrigued me. So I read about it and decided to purchase the e-book only, without the membership site extras and such which you can get after words, for only $7.77 and not the full price of $47 dollars I think.
When I started reading the e-book, I could not stop. This e-book is more of a concept than a magic formula to make money online. When I had finished reading the e-book I was totally convinced that this would help everyone if they accepted this concept and put it to work. While I have not started fully putting the game plan to use yet from this e-book, it will be a future project for this blog.
I do recommend that you purchase the e-book called 5 Bucks A Day Jr and read it and after you read it you can decide if you want to join the membership site or not(it is for a lifetime, one time payment membership) and take advantage of all of the material available. Yes, this is a affiliate link, but it is worth the $7.77 and I only list affiliates that are truly worth the money.
If anyone is familiar with the material from 5 Bucks A Day, then I would be eager to hear your take on the material as well.
Till next time…..

Project Update
I really apologize for not posting for awhile, but I would rather make quality posts than posts about nothing that ramble on. I decided though that I did need to make some kind of contact every once in a while, even if I had nothing to report.
As far as the projects, the traffic building is still going on. I am about done adding to the list of directories that I am using. It has over 500 in the list, but some are for niche blogs, like webmasters only, and mine did not fit in. But in the end I will have over 150 listings in the directories, all PR-3, 4 or 5, a couple higher.
I have also made a Squidoo page for my blog, but I am very discouraged by the results so far. I am not ranked for any of my keywords. I guess Google really slapped away the magic that Squidoo used to have. I will be updating it some to help bring up the rankings and I need to make more lenses, but with a different twist, like “The Best Money Making Blogs” and of course put My Internet Lab on top! lol
I also wrote an article at ezinearticles.com and so far have had 26 views and one person that clicked the link to my blog. Small, but not bad for just a few days. Need to make many more articles.
As for the niche sites with WordPress project, I have not decided if I want to make the blogs and the content sort of related (like dogs, different breeds, all dog related) or make them totally different (like cars, dating services,ring-tones). So when I do that I will get the appropriate domain names and then set them up. Right now I am leaning towards all related, then I would be able to “corner the market” so to speak on that subject, so when someone types in a search for that subject, at least one of the sites should show up in the results.
Keep on stopping by and keeping up with my progress, it is greatly appreciated.
Till next time…..

New Project – Niche Sites Using WordPress
Hi Everyone,
I am starting a new project as the “Full Time Traffic Builder” project seems to be going along with no snags. This new project is “How to Develop Money Making Niche Sites Using WordPress” and is based on the e-book of the same title written by Caroline Middlebrook. The e-book by Caroline is free for you to download and is full of useful information, even if you are not going to make a niche site using WordPress.
I encourage you to go to her site and download this free e-book and read it because I will be referring to it throughout this project. I will give at least six months for this project, maybe more depending on the results, for this project to develop and and give back enough feedback for a good results report.
I will do at least 3 to 5 of these sites as not all niches are the same or have the same “season” for use. I may increase this amount if I see that the results are positive and are actually bringing in some money. In a post called “A Simple Strategy to Make Money Online with WordPress,” Caroline gives some background on what I plan to do with the information in her e-book.
She also talks about if that you had 100 of these sites and the each made $1 a day that would be a hefty income for you. She then spoke about a gentleman named Gary Conn who actually has over 100 blogs and most of his blogs average over $1 per day with two that make $40 and $100 per day and with a grand total of over $5000 a month! You can see his post here.
This also reopens that age old question, Would you rather have one website that made $5000 a month or would you rather have 100 sites that make $50 a month? To me the answer is obvious, YES! It wouldn’t really bother me to have 100 sites that made a little a day or one big one, as long as they were bringing in the dough! In fact my feeling is that I would rather have the 100 because to have the one would mean a lot of pressure to deliver the goods each and everyday to keep the site going.
So ,that is my new project and I will be starting it in the next day or so. As with all of my projects, I will be giving you regular updates so you can follow along. You can also get Carolines’ e-book and start your own project too! Then we can compare notes at the end of the project.
Till next time…..

New Theme For My Internet Lab
As you can see, I have changed the theme, again, for MyInternetLab.com because the shortfalls of the other theme were more than I could handle and I had to change it. Although I like this one, there may still be room for improvement down the road.
I have been tweaking the new theme for the last hour or so to add some stuff. I hope it does not take away from the original theme. I think that it goes well with it, for now!
I am still working on submitting to web directories and the other steps of the Traffic Building program. The new site I introduced last time, Qassia, has only given me one visitor for now. If you are interested in joining, please check out my last post, as it is by invitation only to join.
I am still stuck at 9 subscribers at FeedBurner and hope that the total starts going up again. Well enough for now.
Till next time…..

Would You Like Free Traffic?
Here is a quick post to tell you about a new website that is out there to get free traffic to your website. It is called Qassia.
The basic of the Qassia is that when you add “intel” or intelligence to the Qassia website you get a backlink to your website and we all know how good backlinks are.
The catch to joining is that you have to be invited. So………here is your invitation! http://jvillekid.qassia.com/
So check it out today and get some free traffic.

Traffic Generation Program Is Working
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for stopping by today and feel free to ask a question or leave a comment, as your participation is greatly appreciated.
I am still inputting my website to directories all over the web. To see the directories that I am submitting to, see my post “First Project Starts Today” and the link is in that post.
Since my last post, I had been also using MyBlogLog to get new viewers. It is an awesome and responsive tool, but I have limited my use of it for awhile to get the full effect of the directory submission and the other steps of the program.
The last two days have seen 9 and 7 page views respectively and an additional 5 FeedBurner subscribers, for a total of 9 subscribers so far in less then a week. I am really satisfied with the results so far and at the same time I am sort of surprised at these satisfying results as it seems that this program is working and it has only been a few days into it.
I am looking for new projects to do in conjunction with this one as it is not taking as much time as I thought it would. I have one in mind, but if you have any suggestions I would be glad to hear them.
Till next time…..

Moving Right Along
Hi,
Thanks for stopping by today and feel free to ask a question or leave a comment, as your participation is greatly appreciated.
I just wanted to give you a quick update of my progress since I started this traffic building project on March 1st.
I have been submitting the site to directories and making comments on different related blogs. There was a few visit from the comments, but not many. My biggest traffic builder was MyBlogLog.com’s little widget. You can see it in the sidebar on the right. I put it in at work on IE and it looked great, but when I got home on Firefox it is shifted to the side. If anyone might know how to fix it, your suggestions would be great!
Anyway, the traffic from that widget was almost one to one. If I visited their site, they would visit mine. I had 15 visitors on Sunday, March 2, and have added 2 subscribers via FeedBurner, not bad for starting from nothing.
Later this week I will be submitting some articles and making a Squidoo page along with what I have been doing.
Till next time…..
