Twitter Me This!

After many fights in my head, I have finally decided to get busy with Twitter. I have fought for so long as how this is valuable and if it really worked. Well, it valuable and it does work. So here I am, 2 years behind and getting started.

Click here if you would like to follow me on Twitter.

My fellow blogger and hero, Caroline Middlebrook wrote a nice guide on using twitter. You can read it here. I hope you read it or pass it along to some one who doesn’t twitter.

Till next time…..

It Has Been A While…..

Yes it has. Too long for me and I apologize for that. I have just been busy with life and the lab took a back seat, all though I did keep track of it it while I was off.

As far as my first project to get traffic to MyInternetLab.com, I submitted to directories, did some article marketing and made comments on a variety of different blogs.

I submitted to a lot of directories. All of them were PR - 2 or higher and I started with the higher ones first. Some of my submissions were approved right away and I am still getting trickles of approvals in every once in awhile. But the one thing I noticed about the directory submissions was that they have brought me zilch for traffic! But, within a month of so of the start of the submissions, MyInternetLab.com had a Google PR - 2, and I attribute that to the directory submissions alone!

The article marketing has driven a couple of people to the site, but not has much as I thought might come. I have had tons more success making relative comments to other blogs and getting traffic from those comments and my best traffic source is the 45n5.com’s Top 100 Make Money on the Internet List. I am averaging about 20 visitors a week right now and now that I will be more active here I hope for that number to go some more.

I have started other projects in my absence also and I will report to you on those too in the near future.

Till next time…..
