Link Building for More Traffic

As I get ready to start promoting MyInternetLab.com and my other sites again, I was reviewing the steps to the Full Time Traffic Builder and have decided to change Step 1 a little bit. I know that promoting sites by link building works and works well. MyInternetLab.com became a PR-3 website with not a whole lot of traffic but with good link building. I am also starting this at a good time as this sites page rank has fallen to a PR-2!

Today I want to touch on what I will be changing in the link building step of the Full Time Traffic Builder and why. As it stands now, Step 1 has you submitting your site to web directories at a rate of ten a day. This is slow, but I believe to be a unnatural build up of links and may tip off Google and end up penalizing you for it.

The way Google looks at link building is it wants to see a natural progression in the links going to your site. A huge influx all at once will definitely set of alarms. So I will be spreading out the links over a longer period of time and listing fewer each day also. You can do this yourself or even have monthly link building services to this for you. I will opt to do it myself for now, but may have a service do it in the future.

Other than that change to link building, the rest of the Full Time Traffic Builder will stay the same. I will keep you updated as I progress in this project!

Full Time Traffic Builder – Revisited

Hi All!

As you can see my Fiverr.com gigs were rolling right along at a pretty good pace, then it stopped. I am hoping for some more gigs to be awarded, so that means some more site reviews!

In this post I am going to do a little rewinding and take a look back a series of posts I did a while back. If you go to the Full Time Traffic Builder post you can review what it was about and how I was going to use it.

I plan to use this Full Time Traffic Builder to help gain traffic to some of the new sites that I have just started. They include: True Fit Convertible Car Seat, The Bum Blogger, Michigan Free Classified Ads, MIL Article Directory and Left Handed Compound Bow. These sites have virtually no traffic, so they would make great canidates for the Full Time Traffic Builder.

I will update here from time to time on the progress of the traffic for these sites. If you have any questions please feel free to add a comment an dwe will respond to it as quick as we can!

BusinessUnusual.net – The B.U.N. is Fun!!

I am always scouring the Internet looking for ways to add to my 5 dollar a day empire. I am not really looking to hit a home run or anything, but just something to get the ball rolling. Well, a recent search was going uneventful until I ran across a very unique website.

This isn’t your ordinary business website that I found, in fact, it is full of unusual new business ideas and I loved it! BusinessUnusual.Net or The B.U.N., is an extraordinary entertaining yet thought provoking business website. The site is very clean and pleasant to look at and quite easy to navigate.

The B.U.N. shows and tells about businesses that have had unusual approaches at doing business. The businesses that Jason Bax reviews maybe a little strange and different, but they do have a lesson to teach. Jason shows us that however strange the idea, if you think of it, the idea can work.

The posts offer very entertaining and have interesting views on wild things people are doing to make money. Some examples are a story about a guy who is hired to make art out of dirt on car windows and a 16 year old girl who hit the jackpot with her idea and turned a pair of flip-flops into $30 Million!

Not only does Jason have awesome posts, he also has intriguing videos with such notable stars like Gary Busey and you can even help Jason donate to his local charity by submitting a picture of you and a B.U.N.!

My Fiverr Gig!

In an effort to get a great start on my 5 Bucks a Day project, I have joined Fiverr.com.

Fiverr.com is a website where people can post jobs(called gigs on Fiverr) and services they would do for five dollars. Some are neat, some are cool and some are just weird!

Below is a link to my first gig. It is an offer to make 4 refrigerator magnets out of beer bottle caps for $5! That is about it. I will be adding other gigs soon.

5 Bucks A Day…….Is It Possible?

I just wanted to touch base again on a philosophy that keeps me going and that has been an inspiration to me for a while now.

It is called 5 Bucks a Day and it was a profound breakthrough for me after I first read it.

I have been busy with life and projects lately, but I am on the road to coming back full time here soon.
